1. Make sure the disposal is turned off and free of large food scraps.
2. Run a strong stream of hot water for 1 minute, then reduce to a trickle.
3. Drop 1-2 tablets into the disposal.
4. Allow the hot water to run over the tablet for 10-20 seconds.
5. If your sink has two drain holes, insert the plug into the non-disposable drain hole to help keep the foam in the disposal.
6. Turn on the disposal and let it run for 15–40 seconds to activate the foaming action.
7. Allow the foam to rise and disappear, then rinse away any remaining foam and turn off the disposal.
